Gina Gomez, MD, FACOG

Dr. Gina Gomez has been a member of the Shreveport-Bossier City community for over 10 years. She earned her Medical Doctorate degree and received her training in obstetrics and gynecology at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. During her training she was honored with several awards, one of which acknowledged her thorough and compassionate gynecological care.

Dr. Gomez is a board certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of OB/GYN and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (FACOG). She is a member of the Louisiana State Medical Society. Always striving to provide her patients with advanced gynecological care, she was one of the first physicians in the area to train with da Vinci system and provide her patients with minimally invasive robotic surgery.

As a wife and mother, she understands how important the birth of a child is in one’s life and provides specialized care for each woman.

Dr. Gomez is happily married to her husband, Stacy. They have two children. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
